Cinnamon Sparkle Ornaments

IMG_0126b I love finding fun craft activities to do with my kids- especially projects that are keepers. When I saw this tutorial on Pinterest I remembered making these cinnamon applesauce ornaments as a kid and added it to the kid craft to do list. We picked up some cinnamon at the Dollar Store and got to mixing. Easton was a great helper! IMG_0028b We used a small star cookie cutter and a straw to make the holes in the shapes before baking. IMG_0124b To add a little extra fun to our ornaments I used Glitter Blast spray paint in gold to add a coat of sparkle. IMG_0180b We used the twine I had on hand to string them up and the kids had a good time hanging them. I love the homemade, rustic feel they add to our tree. And they smell good too!
