It’s no secret that Fall is my favorite season. l love everything about it- of course the fashion, but also the smells, the home decor, the outdoor activities, the leaves and more. I’ve shared my Fall Bucket List in the past and I can’t wait to start checking those items off this year. This weekend is our annual Fall Fest here in our hometown and the Art Fair is happening in Kansas City. This year feels especially special because people are out and about again- for real! I’ve been watching the trends this season and although Covid-effects are still lingering in what stores are able to offer and what people are willing to wear, I think this Fall is looking really strong. I’ve been seeing lots of blazers, suit sets, boots, fresh denim and some plaids too. I’ve got quite a few outfits I’m excited to share here on the blog, and today’s was inspired by another fall trend, the moody floral.
I found this kimono recently at a place that I don’t often shop and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a great price and the fabric is beautiful. It pulls in two of my favorite Fall colors right now- auburn and a teal/navy. I paired it with my favorite dark denim and a pair of tan booties for Fall. I do think it would work with sandals as well in the Spring- but these colors are so beautiful right now. These jeans do fit a little big, so size down for best fit if you give them a try. This season I’m also seeing florals in a lot of dresses, skirts and blouses. Look for a print with a black or navy base to really ground the floral and make it fit for Fall.
What do you think of this trend? Do you have anything in your closet that fits?
