Happy Thanksgiving friends! It’s been a year of growing and stretching and so much to be grateful for, even in the difficulties and stress. I’m especially grateful for these boys (who certainly did a lot of growing this year!). We recently took some updated family photos at the Christmas tree farm and even I was surprised at how grown up everyone looks when I got the photos back. Covid may have overshadowed our year, but it definitely didn’t stunt anyone’s growth at our house. Not only has everyone (including the dog!) grown in stature, but I’m so proud of how they have grown in their talents, thoughtfulness and more throughout 2020. We have our share of fighting, messes and potty talk, but overall we are so blessed as a family.
We opted for holiday themed family pics this year and a theme of plaid, fair isle and red and green came together pretty quickly. I fell in love with this dress from J. Crew as soon as I saw it and it’s even nicer in person. The fit is tts and the length is great. Soren really loves his Mizzen and Main shirts– and this season he tried their flannel tops. Their quality is top notch. We really love their brand because their clothes stay looking good- even after washing multiple times. He’s found them to also fit tts and really doesn’t want to wear anything else! I got the boys’ outfits mainly from Abercrombie. I love their flannel shirts as well and picked out a few that mixed well together. Baker is wearing a sweater from GAP that we got years ago and has stayed a favorite of mine. We even got Samson an “outfit” and he looked so handsome in his bandana. We definitely went the festive route this time and it made me so happy to see it all come together.
I have to give a special thank you to the entire family for putting on the outfits, at times forcing a smile, and making family pics happen this year- it means so much to me!
We hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday weekend- whether you get to get together in person or via Zoom. I’m thankful for you and for your support and love over the years!
